JB Mpiana and Tshalla Muana was in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania this weekend (18th Dec 2009). The show Organized by Tanzania Cigarette Company under the Embassy Brand aka Club E.
Seating Arrangements

The Ticket price was almost 25 USD (30,000 Tsh) and other Club E members just receive Invitation and with that Fee all guests enjoying Buffet Dinner with Free flow drinks no matter what ur drinking.

TSHALLA MUANA
8:00pm I arrived at Ubungo Plaza where the Party was scheduled to take place, Not so many people at that time but the Ushers told me and my Friends its a time for the Food, The Food was so good with African Cuisine in a three course meal, Personally i enjoyed.
I went back to my seat and i was a bit curious to know how many people are expected to come since the seats was limited and i saw there were 100 tables with 10 people each.

8:30 almost half of the hall was covered with a sweet melodies from Mr DJ,
8:45 the Hall almost full and everyone tried to get nice view to enjoy the show.
9:28 Master of Ceremony Radio Presenter Gadner Gee Habash announce the show about to start and itrooduce Madame Tshalla Muana to the Public, and she started 9:30 sharp!!!!.
The lady is good, still look young and can dance well, But all in all was Three Dancers of Tshalla Muana, makes people to claps hands here and then.
after three songs she introduce the New African Diva (I forgot her name but i like her, the girl can real Sing!!), She is Good at least those loves Congo Music will have substitute after Tshalla Muana and Mbillia Bell era.
Also People enjoyed the wonderful dance techniques from Tshalla Muana Man Dance who can real dance. The show continues until 11:30 sharp and she just finish like that and every body was happy.
Jb MPIANA
12:00 mid nite, Wenge BCBG came to stage, after 5 Minutes of fine tuning they just started with three songs from Pentagone Albam,
1. No Comment Shewngen followed by Djojo Ngonda another song i just forget the name.
12:25 JB Mpiana came to Stage with Stage shows and he came with a famous song Ndombolo from his Solo Album Ndombolo and all the hall was hot by that time, He look a bit trimmed and lighter compared with the last Concert photos. No one wanted to seat anymore and everybody want to dance..... The Non Stop track to track albam to Albam from Pentagone to the New Album people enjoyed a lot.
Sunda Bass, Seguin, Genta, Nono Fudji and all pioneer or Wenge BCBG were there yesterday. It was a nice show and every one was Happy
The last song is were all PDG from Tanzania like Ndama Mutoto ya Ng'ombe go to the stage and gave money to all Musicians and lastly were JB Mpiana who received more than 5000 USD that nite.
Wenge funs here seems to admire Lopele and Kipeyayo more and every body dance with musicians with same steps until Papa Cherry admire those funs......

Thanks for the nice review and pictures, it must have been a wonderful night, two good Congolese bands on the same stage on one night.
The name of the female singer in Tshala's band is Meje 30, she is fantastic, she can be heard on Tshala's new cd Sikila.

Meci Mingi Paapa Pius. This was a lovely show indeed and I missed this thread actually. JB seems to be a darling of the easterners and for Tanzanians to raise their hands up like that, it was a lovely show then. Someone in the African sub-forum misled us into thinking JB started first then Tshala Muana. All in all thanks.

actually JB was surprising when he saw all the fun can dance all the steps in all Songs he played, he was quoted saying that he didnt expect people can dance that much since it has been a long time he played in Dar Es Salaam.
Any way we enjoyed so much.
